The 24" AHEAD stencil is a large sign that makes a bold statement against the pavement. It is a must-have addition to any professional striper’s or contractor’s collection as it adds flexibility and versatility to any large or small job. It is typically used to mark parking lots and driveways where oncoming traffic is alerted that something lays ahead. It can be combined with other industry standard stencils such as “STOP", “X-ING", or “TURN LANE" for added direction. The measurements and specifications of the stencil comply with industry standards and are fit for use in most public areas. When painted, the stencil itself measures 72" wide by 24" high for easy readability. The material measures 78" wid eby 30" high, allowing several inches of space on each side for overspray. The stencil is printed on a single sheet which makes it easy to use, clean, and store.
There are four material grade options available to choose from for the make of your stencil. The thickest and most durable grade is the .080 ALU, which is a rigid 5052 aluminum that lasts forever. This indestructible material can be used for any heavy job, and is also useful for preformed thermoplastic striping. The next thickest material is the ?" PRO-Grade LDPE, which is an industry standard. This commonly used material is recommended by professionals as it offers years of durability and thousands of reuses without showing signs of wear or tear. If you’re invested in a light-duty or custom job, the 1/16" LDPE is an affordable option. This grade is flexible without sacrificing durability, and can last a long time when used sparingly. The .030" HIPS is ultra thin, and adds more flexibility for a custom or single-time fit.
