Application Instructions
What You’ll Need:
- Screw driver, crack scraper, or asphalt blower
- Propane torch (handheld or wand-style)
- Optional: backer rod, surface cleaning brush, gloves
Step-by-Step:
- 1. Clean the crack with a broom or blower. Make sure the surface is dry.
- 2. Insert Crack Stix rope into the joint, stretching or splicing to fit.
- 3. Apply flame to melt the filler into place, moving slowly and evenly.
- 4. Let cure for 20 minutes before walking or driving on it.
Use a rotary broom for faster cleaning, and preheat in cold weather for better bonding.
