The 15" number kit stencil is a larger number kit that is used for a variety of projects and contracts. It is a must-have addition to any serious striper’s collection as it provides the numbers 0 through 9 as well as two blank pieces for spacing and ending. This number kit is typically used to mark parking spaces, stalls, fields, and sidewalks. It is also often used to cover up older or smaller markings during a renovation project. The stencil kit can be upgraded to an 18-piece set which includes an extra 0,1,2,3,4, and 5 for added durability. This kit is made in the USA and comes with a warranty that guarantees it to be free of any impediments or defects.
The measurements and specifications of the stencil kit match industry standards and are on the taller side for added visibility to those from a distance. When painted, each character measures 9" wide and 15" high, making a bold statement against the pavement. The material itself measures 11" wide by 19" high, adding several inches of space on each side to allow for overspray.
There are four different material grade options that you can choose from when deciding on a stencil grade that works for you. Each option offers durability, longevity, and cost-effectiveness depending on your project. For industrial sized and heavy-duty projects, the .080 ALU is the thickest option. This grade is a rigid 5052 aluminum that lasts forever and can withstand thermoplastic extruding. Another durable option is the ?" PRO-Grade LDPE, which is an industry standard. This commonly used material can last up to ten years and can be reused thousands of times without ever showing signs of wear or tear. The 1/16" LDPE is the counterpart to the PRO-Grade, offering just as much durability but with added flexibility. This thin material is good for light-duty projects and infrequent uses. The thinnest grade available is the .030" HIPS, which is ultra flexible for a custom or one-time job.
