The 3" number kit stencil is a factory direct stencil that comes with a 12 or 18 piece kit of numbered stencils between 0 and 9. The stencils meet industry standards and are Federally approved for use on vertical curbs. Most industry professionals use the stencils for housing numbers, business addresses or sometimes flat pavement designations. While the stencils are made specifically for vertical curbs, they have an offset that allows them to be used on flat surfaces as well. The overspray is different depending on where the stencils are placed.
The stencils work best for small numbering projects, as they only measure 3" in height and 2.2" - 2.3" in width depending on the number. The material itself measures 4" wide by 7" high, and comes equipped with two additional plank pieces to help secure each number into place. Each stencil in the set comes with a guarantee that it will be free of defects or blemishes, promising that the stencil will never wear.
You can choose between four different stencil grades to create the number kit. Each grade works well for a specific type of project. The .080 ALU is a forever-lasting material that will allow for an infinite amount of uses. It is an affordable option because it never wears or tears, allowing for longevity and repeated use. A follow-up material is the ?" LDPE, which is the most common material of the industry. It is cost effective and durable, allowing for multiple uses over almost a decade of use. A more flexible and less durable version of the PRO-Grade LDPE is the 1/16" LDPE, which is officially the “Light Duty" material. A thinner grade is the .030" HIPS, which is the best option for a one time or few-time use. Each material lays completely flat and comes with an assisted offset to help with the curve of each curb.
