Safely heat the product to 380-400°F, watching the thermometer to avoid overheating. No need to wait to apply it. This is pre-reacted and ready to go as soon as you reach the right temperature.
This parking lot crack filler should only be applied when the pavement's temperature is 40°F (4°C) or warmer. You can use a torch or lance to heat the pavement if you need to fill cracks urgently at colder temperatures.
How to Apply Deery Super Stretch Crack Filler
To use, first clean the cracks so there is no dirt, dust, plants or loose aggregate. These could prevent the product from making a solid connection to the pavement around it. Make sure cracks are completely dry before you start to apply the asphalt crack filler. You can use a melter-applicator like our RY10, RY10 Pro, RY10 Elite, or a simple crack pour pot for this.
Be careful not to keep it at high heat for long periods of time. The parking lot crack filler can be cooled and reheated as needed. But prolonged heating can degrade the quality of the product. It can also void the warranty.

The Deery Super Stretch Crack Filler is designed to handle as wide as 1 1/2", with a 1:1 ratio, you can rout the crack to achieve the ratio or use a heat resistant backer rod if it is too deep.
For most applications, the ideal crack or joint shape is a 1:1 depth‑to‑width ratio. Cracks can be routed to create reservoirs with this ratio, and the most common dimensions are ½ x ½ inch (12 x 12 mm) or ¾ x ¾ inch (19 x 19 mm).
In very cold climates, where cracks expand more due to thermal movement, a shallower configuration is often used — typically 1½ inches wide by ⅜ inch deep (40 x 10 mm), which gives a 1:4 depth‑to‑width ratio.
The maximum crack or joint width should not exceed 1½ inches (40 mm). To control depth and reduce sealant usage, a heat‑resistant backer rod that meets ASTM D5249 Type I can be placed in the joint. For random or non‑working cracks, surface overbands are common, but they should be no wider than 4 inches (10 cm) and no thicker than 1/16 inch (1.6 mm).
