Fire lanes should be clearly marked in accordance with federal, state or local regulations. Ensure that these paths are free from obstruction, and have easy access to entrances and exits. The 12" Fire Lane stencil comes in handy for this requirement. Applicable for both indoor and outdoor use, this stencil is made from pliable clear LPDE, so you can see exactly where you need to lay down your marking pattern before painting.
With 3 thicknesses to choose from, you are assured that we have the correct stencil grade for your needs. Professional contractors and line stripers that require durable stencils will surely be satisfied with the 1/8" (.125") PRO-Grade LDPE. Designed with contractors in mind, this stencil grade can easily hold up against the rigorous demands of daily usage. For DIYers or part-time line stripers, the 1/10" (.100") Light-Duty LDPE will be a great addition to your arsenal of tools. This grade is half as thick as the Pro but can last a long time when used every few weeks or so. If you only need to use stencils once every couple of months or once a year, the 1/16" (.060") Light-Duty LDPE will be a great alternative. Designed for very rare or one-time use, this stencil type is ideal for homeowners, property managers, or institutions, schools and communities that do their own pavement markings once every two years or so.
Our stencils are very easy to clean and maintain. Just peel off dried paint after each use, and then wash with soap and water or appropriate solvents (depending on the type of paint used). To store, hang stencils flat against the wall or lay flat inside a box. If the stencil is curled up around the edges after being taken out of the box, simply lay it flat and allow it to "rest" for a few minutes before using. Putting weights on the corners will also help it straighten faster.
